Student Verification Blocked - Document review limit exceeded

Hello Figma Support,

My student verification failed with "Document review limit exceeded" error.

Details:
School: SLIIT - Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology
Student Email: [redacted PII - DJV 7/8/26]
Student ID: BM24200790

I have attached my SLIIT Student ID Card and current enrollment screenshot from the student portal.

Can you please manually review and approve my Figma Education account?

    I’m Denise from the Community team at Figma. I completely understand the urgency here, but my team here on the forum isn’t able to manually verify Education plans. The "document review limit exceeded" error means SheerID's automated system has hit its cap on reviewing the files submitted for your verification attempt(s). Since SheerID is our verification partner and independently manages the document review process, we're not able to manually verify or override this on our end, even with the ID card and enrollment screenshot you shared here.


    The good news is SheerID's support team can look into this directly. Here's what I'd recommend:

    1. Reach out to their Figma-specific support queue at figmasupport@sheerid.com. This routes you to specialists who handle Figma education cases specifically, so you won't be starting from scratch even if you've contacted SheerID before.
    2. Include the same details you posted here (school name, student ID, and the two documents), so they can pull up your case quickly.
    3. Mention the exact error message ("document review limit exceeded"), so they know it's a system cap issue rather than a documentation problem.

    This ensures your request is routed to the relevant specialists who can review and resolve it as quickly as possible.
