Student plan doesn't work after status is verified

Hi everyone!

 

I have recently verified my account as I need to use Figma for my class. I had an email stating that my account has been verified and I also emailed SheerID and they also explained that my account had already been verified. However, I cant access the features under the Education plan. I have emailed education@figma.com and they haven’t replied. My student email is [redacted]. Someone please help as I am falling behind in class as the response has been so slow.

Hi ​@olivia.lewis,

 

I understand that you’ve already verified your student status through SheerID, but you’re still unable to access Education plan features.

 

I checked on our end and it looks like you currently have two Figma accounts:

  • The account associated with the email address you mentioned in your post appears to be verified with SheerID and currently has access to a Free Starter team.
  • The account you’re posting from here on the forum has an open support ticket (#1708096: our Education team reviews requests in the order they’re received, and the current response time is up to 5 days.)

 

Please note that once your Education status is verified, you’ll need to create or upgrade the team you plan to use as your Education team.

To access an Education plan team for free, this must be done using the same email address that was verified.
