I tried to apply for the Figma Student Education Plan using the SheerID verification form. However, during the process, I faced an error several times. After multiple attempts, it now shows:

 

“Verification limit exceeded. We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”

 

It has been more than three days, but I’m still unable to verify or reapply. Could you please reset my verification limit or help me complete the student offer process?

From what I could find, I think you’ve already been in touch with our support team regarding this already (prior to my response here).

Our Education team reviews requests in the order they’re received, and the current SLA is up to five business days days. Your ticket was escalated, but I can’t guarantee the exact response time. They are working hard to process education inquiries, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

I am writing to follow up on my student ID verification issue. When I tried to verify my student ID, I initially received a message, and after attempting the process multiple times, the system displayed a notification stating that I had reached my limit and could no longer proceed with the verification.

Could you please reset my verification limit? I need to attempt the verification process again. Restoring my ability to verify would be greatly appreciated.

Our Figma Education team will review your case regarding the verification limit and follow up with you directly. If you have any additional information to share, please send it through the secure form (when you reach out directly to the Figma Education team), it’s the safest way to handle your case due to privacy and security reasons.

Thank you for your earlier response and for escalating my case. However, my account still shows the message “Verification limit exceeded” when I try to reapply for the student offer.

Could you please help me reactivate or reset my student verification so I can try again?
As mentioned, I don’t have a school email ID, but I can share valid student proof (ID card or bonafide certificate) if needed.

I’d really appreciate your help resolving this issue.

For anyone experiencing a similar issue, please note:

Figma for Edu cannot verify your account. All verifications with have to go through SheerID. 
 
Figma only requires school email addresses for schools that issue them to staff and students. If that is not the case for your school please reach out to SheerID directly to explain your case.
