Hello Figma Community,

I’m currently a design student and I was re-verifying my student education plan because of the new update and features but when I tried to re-verify my account, my ending screen would be

Verification Limit Exceeded

We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.

I don’t know if my re-verification went through because before it would say “we’re having troubles please verify later” so I tried it a couple of days later and got the “verification limit exceeded” screen.

If anyone knows a solution that would be amazing! Thanks!

Hi @Eduardo Ribeiro — welcome to Figma Forum, and sorry about the trouble with re-verifying.

The "Verification Limit Exceeded" message is coming from SheerID, the partner who manages the verification process. It usually means your verification attempts have been capped — but SheerID has the tools to reset that limit so you can try again. Here's what I'd suggest:

  1. Reach out to SheerID directly at figmasupport@sheerid.com — let them know you hit the limit while re-verifying for the new update, and they should be able to reset your attempts.
  2. Before you re-verify, make sure you have the right documentation ready based on your institution type. This resource covers what's required: Figma for Education → Verify your education status.

If things stall after reaching out to SheerID, come back here and let me know — happy to take another look. 🙏🏻
