When I export the frame as a jpg/png, there a stroke around. I tried everything - updated GPU driver, removed the frame fill, tried to use a rectangle as a background -- all is the same, Figma exports it with random stroke.

Please fix it!

Hi @EricaRW

I understand you're running into an issue with an unexpected stroke appearing when you export a frame to JPG and PNG.

Thanks for letting us know what you've already tried. We've seen similar issues, and they're often related to objects not being perfectly aligned to the pixel grid. Here are a couple of things you can check:

  • Object Position (Decimal Values)
    • Sometimes, if an object's X or Y position has a decimal value (e.g., X: 100.5), it can cause this. To fix this, you can use the Round to Pixel function or manually change its coordinates in the Properties Panel. Then, try exporting again to see if that resolves the issue. Here's a helpful article about it: Snap to pixel grid
  • Export Multiplier (Non-Integer Values)
    • This can also happen if you're exporting with a non-integer multiplier (like 0.8x) and the frame isn't located at position (0,0) on the canvas. If this sounds like your situation, could you try either setting the export multiplier to a whole number (like 1x or 2x) or moving the frame to the (0,0) coordinates?

If you've tried these suggestions and the problem still isn't resolved, please check the DM I'll be sending you shortly for the next steps.

Thanks!
