I am an interaction professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato and I have three students that can’t get verified.
We have contacted education@figma.com (no response), SheerID (completely unhelpful; see below), and read through several forum posts; all to no avail. I have spent hours trying to work through this issue.
SheerID continues to reply with either “While we can't offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please ensure all information submitted is accurate and meets the eligibility criteria. Your ticket has now been permanently closed.” or prompts us to “contact Figma directly for further assistance.”
Even though Figma representatives have stated SheerID has the ability to help mitigate these issues in various forum posts, SheerID has made it clear they will not do anything, including providing any clarification as to how we can resolve issues or when students can try again.
FIGMA, PLEASE HELP: We are almost finished with week 3 of the semester and this has significantly impacted their ability to learn not only in my class, but several others. If someone can reach out I’ll be able provide the emails and ticket numbers.
