Since the latest version (126.6.12) I’ve been struggling to open certain files in the DESKTOP app. I get the following message -

Something went wrong...

Our team is looking into it now. If refreshing the page doesn't work, check our status page for updates.

Files open fine in web browser.

Hey, @AlexPeterson 👋 Sorry to hear this is happening to you. I’d love to dig in a bit more.

  • Can you tell me more about the files that won’t open? Are they all the same type? .fig or .make for example?
  • Are these files you own? If so, do copies of the files also fail to open in Desktop?

Thanks! — Jaycee

Hi Jaycee.

They are just standard design files stored in figma. Yes these are files I own and have worked perfectly fine over the last month. As I mentioned they work in the web app just not in the desktop app. I wonder if it’s simply a bug with the latest release (126.6.12).

I’ve just tried again this morning
