Hello,
we have a huge issue with slots in our design system. From one day to the other, without any reason our slots in components are treated like they have been overridden (e.g. border color, bg color, ...). Those styles are then inherited to swapped components. You can be 100% sure that we didn’t customise the slots and all components have been tested extensively before, so why do they now have overrides? Where do the come from? What has changed in Figma?
The only solution is to go through all components in the system and reset the slots. Honestly Figma should save time not add additional work on our shoulders …
Hope you can help us to find out what is causing this issue in Figma and how we can prevent such things in the future.
Attached you find a file showing the problem.
Thx
Harald
We have the same problem. When we swap to another component, the slot component styling is preserved, so we have to reset the fill and stroke manually.
We’re also experiencing this issue. Has anyone found out the cause?
Same here. suffering from the same problem for weeks. Has anyone fixed this problem?
It would be great to hear Figma’s take on this. We are experiencing it also. One thing I think works is using a rectangle vs a frame, but that would entail a huge lift on our end to make that change.
Same problem here. When a want to load a component in a slot, y lost a lot o styles (fill, border, ect...).
I building a design system base on Slot, and i m in big trouble now …. because it’s not working fine
It’s a major issue PLZ !!!!
