After several attempts to verify my account on SheerID, I received a “We're unable to verify you using the information submitted. Please check your information for accuracy, and only use your own mobile device or computer.” error message.
I’ve been emailing to SheerID and figma edu with no reply. Since all current educational users must re-verify their status before September 29, 2025, this has become an urgent issue in my classes. Any help, guidance, or suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to locate your support ticket with the Figma Education team, and I’ve escalated it internally for visibility. We’re currently experiencing a backlog, and the team is working hard to get to everyone.
Education requests are reviewed in the order they’re received, with a current SLA of up to five business days. While I can’t guarantee an exact response time, your ticket has been prioritized.

Thank you ​@Celine_ for your help. The SheerID team has responded, but their solution is still unclear. They advised me to reach out to Figma directly regarding this issue. 

I would like to clarify that I am a contract officer working under the Digital Government Committee of the Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia. My position is Digital Administrator, and I am responsible for managing software and hardware-related issues to improve digital accessibility and support government officials in their work. Our team has been using Figma Slide to provide training materials and pitch deck for training and teaching internally to. 

However, our ministry uses the official domain @tourism.gov.kh for all administrative and institutional correspondence organization, including those related to educational and digital training programs. Please advise if there is a way to verify my eligibility, or if you could forward my case to Figma’s education team for further review.

I completely understand how important your work is, but unfortunately it looks like your request doesn’t meet the current eligibility criteria for our Education plan. You can review more about our plan qualifications here.
