When I wanted to update the file I had previously published to the community as Library → UI Kit, the sub category (UI Kit) disappeared and only shows one option (Other) which will not display a preview or be shown in the right listing
This is when I tried to go back to UI Kit

as shown the option is completely gone :(
note: I don’t know if it’s related but I published the library to my account

I reached out to the support and they advised me to turn off the prototype preview toggle in the second step. After doing that the option appeared again.

This definitely sounds confusing and inconvenient. I flagged this over to our Community team and that category is only for Figma editor types. Did you by any chance accidentally change the editor type of your file?
If not, are you able to share a direct URL link to the resource? I can pass it onto the team, so they can take a closer look on the backend.
