How can I fully remove myself from an inactive Figma team project? The project owner is not active, and I need assistance from the Figma support team to completely take it off my profile.

Hi @SANDESH REWALE — welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for reaching out.

To make sure I'm pointing you in the right direction, have you tried leaving the team directly? Depending on your access level, you may be able to leave from within Figma. From the file browser, click the dropdown next to the team name and look for a Leave team option. More details and what happens to file, project, and library ownership here: Leave a team. If you don't see that option, it likely means your access level doesn't allow it — which is where Product Support can step in for a closer look.

That said, I've already flagged this with our Product Support team and pointed out your request for data removal. Your case number is: 1856906, and they'll follow up at the email tied to your Figma account. For reference, this resource covers how team membership and removal works depending on the plan type: Remove people from an organization.

Appreciate your patience as we look into this. 🙏🏻

Yes sir, I have tried to leave the VERVITUDE team, but I do not have access to do so, and there is no “Leave Team” option available in the dropdown for me.

This is becoming quite frustrating, as I sometimes accidentally switch to this team while working. I have attached a screenshot for your reference, which shows that the “Leave Team” option is not visible and the VERVITUDE team is still appearing in my account.

I would like to request your help in completely removing or deleting the VERVITUDE team from my Figma account. The team owner seems to be inactive and has not responded to my emails or messages.

Please assist me with this as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Sandesh Rewale
