The Figma agent isn't available on Education plans. It's still in open beta, and access is tied to plan type rather than your workspace or region. The beta is currently rolled out to Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans. Full seats can use it across all files, while View, Dev, and Collab seats can try it in drafts.
There's no waitlist to join for Education access specifically. This is a phased rollout by plan type rather than a sign-up queue, so there isn't an extra step to take on your end right now. I don't have a specific date for when that'll change, but we're continuing to expand the beta, and I'd keep an eye on this How do I access the AI agent beta in Figma Design? article for the latest updates.
