Request a refund for a professional plan

Hi Figma support team,

I recently subscribed to the Figma Professional plan and was charged $20. After testing the features, I found that the plan does not meet my expectations and needs for my current workflow, so I decided to cancel my subscription.

Since I will not be using the paid features, I would like to kindly request a refund for the $20 charge. I noticed that similar refund requests for professional plans have been resolved positively in this community, and I hope my case can be reviewed as well.

Hi Figma team,

I recently subscribed to the Figma Professional plan (charged $20) hoping it would meet my needs for UI/UX design and prototyping for my cybersecurity studies and personal projects.

After using it for a short period, I realized the plan doesn't offer the specific features I actually need for my workflow, and I decided to cancel my subscription. Since I won't be using the paid features going forward, I would like to kindly request a refund of the $20 charge.

I understand that refunds are typically not granted, but I would appreciate it if you could review my case as I did not use the full value of the subscription during this billing period.

Please check your inbox for an email from me — the team will need to confirm a couple of details before they can proceed.

If you haven't already, make sure your plan is fully cancelled to avoid any further charges and learn more about the refund policy here: Upgrade or downgrade your plan → Downgrade or cancel your plan.

Hi Michelle,

Thank you for processing the cancellation and refund. I have received the credit note, but the $20.00 refund has not yet appeared in my Mastercard account ending in 6346. I understand it may take 5-10 business days, but I wanted to confirm if everything is correct on your end or if any additional information is needed from my side.

Please let me know if I should wait a bit longer or if there's anything else I need to do.
