Hello Figma Support Team,

I recently purchased 1 full seat on the Professional monthly subscription plan, and the amount charged was approximately $20 + $3 tax.

However, I have now received a renewal notification showing an estimated renewal amount of $58.71, which is significantly higher than what I expected for a single full seat.

Could you please help clarify:

  1. Why the renewal amount is showing as $58.71

  2. Whether any additional seats or charges have been added to the plan

  3. What the expected renewal amount should be for 1 full seat

Hey @englishgyaniapp , Celine from the Community Support team here, thanks for reaching out 🙂

I can see why that renewal amount would be confusing! For billing-specific details, our Support team will need to take a closer look at your account, as we’re not able to investigate billing information here on the Forum due to privacy and security reasons. I see that you have already reached out to them, thanks for doing that! I’ve also added a follow-up note to your case for visibility.

In the meantime, this article might help explain some common reasons for higher charges and how to fix it: There are additional charges in my Figma bill.

In general, if your bill is higher than expected, it’s often because additional paid seats have been added to your plan (for example, new members or seat upgrades), which can increase the total amount at renewal.

Regarding your last question, the price for a Professional full seat is $12/month (annual) or $15/month (monthly), but your actual renewal amount may vary depending on taxes or any changes to your seats during the billing period. You can have more information in our Pricing page.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction. The Support team will be able to confirm exactly what’s happening in your case. Thanks for your patience in the meantime! 🙏🏼
