Refund Request for Accidental Team Professional Upgrade

Hello Figma Support,

My cousin accidentally upgraded my account from the Free/Starter plan to the Team Professional plan ($35). This upgrade was not authorized by me — my card was still saved on the account.

I kindly request that the subscription be cancelled and the $35 charge refunded.
I would really appreciate your help with this.

Hi ​@Abdurrauf Murtala, thanks for reaching out. Since this involves billing and account-specific information, we can’t handle refund requests here in the Forum. You’ll need to contact our support team so they can review the accidental upgrade and assist you directly.

I’ve just sent you a DM with important information. Please take a look when you have a moment.

In the meantime, you can find the steps for downgrading your Professional plan in our Help Center. I’ve included them here as well:

To cancel your Professional plan subscription:

  1. Using the browser or Figma desktop app, locate the Professional team from the left sidebar.
  2. Click  Admin.
  3. Select the  Settings tab.
  4. In the Plan section, click Cancel plan.
  5. Figma will ask you for a cancellation reason. Select the most appropriate reason and click Cancel plan.

This will stop future renewals while the support team reviews your request. Thank you!
