Jinheon Kwon

Hello Figma Support,

I would like to request a refund for a recent Figma subscription charge.

The subscription was renewed or purchased unintentionally, and I cancelled the plan as soon as I noticed the charge. I have not meaningfully used the paid features since the payment was processed.

Account email: [email redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]
Workspace or team name: [Team name]
Payment date: [24/07/2026]
Amount charged: [Amount and currency]
Invoice number: [in_1Twb2OIvcqWR3dFDV4cufK33]

I understand that subscription payments are generally non-refundable, but I would appreciate it if you could review my circumstances and consider making an exception.

Thank you for your assistance.

Kind regards,
Jinheon Kwon

Hey @Jinheon Kwon , Celine from the Figma Community Support team here, stepping in for @Gayani_S! Thanks for following up, and I'm sorry for any confusion here.

I checked internally and can confirm that your support ticket has been assigned to a member of our support team. They'll be able to review your account, look into the billing timeline and what led to the charge, clarify your current plan status, and determine whether any further action is available.

Since this involves account-specific billing details, we're unable to review those here on the Forum, but the team will continue working with you directly through your existing support case. For reference, your case number is #2055308. Thanks for your patience while they take a closer look!

Update: Good news: I can see in the backend that the support agent was able to clarify and resolve your request! Just to share a bit of context for your case here: after cancelling a Professional plan, access usually continues until the end of the current billing period. Sometimes charges can still appear if there were seat changes or prorated adjustments made before the cancellation fully took effect.

Please check your inbox for the full details and continue the conversation via the secure form if you need clarification. I’ve gone ahead and close the topic here.

Hey @Jinheon Kwon, thanks for reaching out!

I don't see a support ticket linked to this yet, so this'll need to go through our support team directly. For security and privacy reasons, we're not able to look into individual billing or account details here on the Forum.

Could you submit a request through our support hub (or the Help widget inside Figma) under "Billing and invoicing"? Include the invoice number and our customer support team will review your case.

For reference, our Help Center covers how subscription billing works: Upgrade or downgrade your plan. As it explains, subscription payments are generally non-refundable, but the team does review individual circumstances.

Hope this helps!

It’s really frustrating how difficult it is to manage Figma’s billing — choosing a plan is confusing, downgrading is complicated, and getting a refund feels almost impossible. I switched my plan to Free the day before the billing date, yet I still got charged, which is extremely annoying. Even now my account shows the Free plan, so I don’t understand why the charge happened or whether my billing will actually go down. I’ve searched everywhere, but the FAQ keeps sending me to the community forum, and I still can’t get a refund. Why did you make such a maze for something so simple? Please just give me a direct link where I can contact support easily.
