Refund Request for Accidental Charge / Adjusting Seat Count

Hello Figma Support Team,

I am writing to request a refund and a correction for a payment that was processed just moments ago.

I was unexpectedly charged for an annual plan for multiple seats. I did not realize that former team members were still listed in my team account. These accounts are inactive and not in use.

I only need to pay for 1 seat.

Could you please cancel the recent transaction and refund the full amount? I would like to re-subscribe and pay only for the 1 active seat I am currently using.

  • Date of Charge: Jan 15, 2026

I understand that you were unexpectedly charged when your annual Professional plan renewed, and that you only need one seat. You’re also requesting a refund for the additional seats.

 

Unfortunately, we’re not able to assist with account-specific billing issues directly here in the forum. That said, I’ll go ahead and create a support ticket(#1691217) on your behalf so our billing team can review this and assist you directly.

One of our specialists will reach out to you via the ticket email once they’re ready. Please continue the conversation regarding this request in that ticket.

 

Just so you know, 30 days before your annual plan is set to renew, you’ll see a banner at the top of your Figma admin page. You can click Review seats to adjust the number of seats for your next renewal.

Additionally, if you add extra paid seats during your annual subscription term, those seats are billed separately on a monthly basis.
