I bought a plan without wanting to and forgot about it now I have been charged for it when I really need the money for schooling I hope someone can help!

I understand that you were charged for a paid plan you no longer intended to use and had forgotten about, and that you’re requesting a refund.

After checking on our end, here’s what we found:

  • Your team previously had a monthly Professional plan, which was canceled during the last billing term.
  • You originally had a Collab seat, but before the end of the billing period, the seat was changed to a Full seat.

Any prorated charges for seat changes that weren’t billed during the previous billing term are automatically applied to the next invoice. In your case, while the previous billing period included the charge for the Collab seat, the Full seat usage hadn’t been billed yet. This resulted in the prorated charge that appeared on your most recent invoice.

A quick note on seat types:

  • A Collab seat includes full access to Figma Slides and FigJam, and view/comment access in Figma Design files.
  • A Full seat is required to create or edit Figma Design files.
