Recent update broke my Figma application

I recently updated my Figma app(on Windows) and ever since then it looks like it is forever loading and never uploads. The browser version works but I want to know a possible fix for this as I find the browser version not as efficient as the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, same issue is occurring.
