Re-verification not working for Education Plan. "Verification limit exceeded" error.

Hi, 

My student club has an Education plan where we keep our Figma files. Our account was locked and we we’re asked to re-verify. I went through the re-verification forum and hit the error saying “Verification limit exceeded”. I then contacted SheerID and they got back to me saying they cannot process my verification request or offer further support. Please advise me on what can be done for my Education benefits to continue as this has halted a major portion of our work.

I understand you’re seeing the “Verification Limit Exceeded” message and have already contacted SheerID directly, but received an email stating that they were unable to process your verification request — is that correct?

 

Unfortunately, Figma isn’t able to review documents or confirm individual eligibility for the Education program.

 

Did SheerID mention anything about ensuring that all the information you provided is accurate and meets the eligibility requirements?
If so, please make sure that all your submitted information is correct. For example:

  • Use your school-issued email address.

  • Select the relevant institution type — if you’re a higher education student, choose “Higher Ed.”

  • Select the correct country and school name, etc.

If you’ve confirmed that all your information is correct and you’re eligible based on the details in that article but are still being rejected by SheerID, please share the details here so I can check with our relevant team.

 

If SheerID determines you’re ineligible for the Figma for Education program, you can still use Figma and retain your existing work. You also have the option to downgrade to the free Starter plan or upgrade to a Professional plan.
