Publishing failed: Please reload the page to publish

Getting the “Publishing failed: Please reload the page to publish” error when I try to publish.

I’ve gone through the older treads but haven’t found a solutions beside Figma sent out a fix. I’ve tried everything I can think of including the obvious solutions like reloading tab and restarting computer.

I’ve tried deleting all new components and even restored earlier versions, from the version history panel, that were previously published. Yet still no luck. My other libraries will publish, but my main library will not. 🙄

Hi everyone,

Hi, I’ve been encountering this same error for about a day now. Is anyone else still experiencing it?
I’ve already tried all the usual fixes—refreshing, restarting, rolling back to previous versions, and so on—but nothing has helped. I also checked for layer or naming conflicts within components and didn’t find anything unusual. Could this be caused by a different bug? Thx!

Hey both, thanks for flagging this, and sorry for the disruption to your work.

I’ve checked internally and it looks like the issue has resolved itself for other users in this thread. That said, I’d like our team to take a closer look at your specific cases.

Could you both please reach out to our support team by submitting a bug report?

To do so:

  • Go to the Support Hub / Click Start a chat / Type “Report a bug” / Include a direct URL to the file

Please also make sure to share view access to the file with support-share@figma.com (our official support account), so the team can investigate further. You won’t be billed for this access. Thank you!

I am getting this message all of the sudden. My version history is showing I have published multiple times even though I got the error.... I published last week with no issues, someone on my team just tried to publish and had no issues.
