Prototypes not playing in Figma Slides

Anything that changed in the last week? Suddenly no embedded prototype is playing anymore in the presenter mode. They load and work fine when previewing them in Edit, and when viewing them in the design Files, but nothing when presenting.  Even in old files that they used to work in are suddenly broken

I understand you're experiencing an issue where embedded prototypes in your Figma Slides file no longer play in presentation mode, even though they still work while editing the file.

I tested this on my end but wasn’t able to reproduce the issue.

If you're still running into the same problem, could you please submit a request using this secure form so we can investigate further? Submit a request

In the form, please include:

  • The URL of the Slides file and the Prototype file
  • Add support-share@figma.com as an editor on those files (this won’t affect your billing)
  • The URL of this Forum post so our team has full context

This access will allow our team to take a closer look and troubleshoot the issue more effectively.
