Problem with studente verification

Natalia Crecente García

 

I am a teacher at the EASD Ramón Falcón in Lugo. I have created a working group with the students, but we are having problems verifying the student Daniela A. L. [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII].

 

She reported the issue and was told it couldn't be verified. I'm forwarding the email I received:

After a deeper look into your request, we are sorry to inform you that we are unable to verify your status at this time. Because our system could not validate the information provided—and due to the nature of our verification platform—we are not able to offer further details or manual assistance for this specific request.
 
We realize this isn’t the news you were looking for, and we truly appreciate your time and understanding regarding this final determination.

Hey ​@Natalia Crecente García,  thank you for taking the time to explain the situation and for supporting your student through this.

From what you’ve shared, this does look like an automated outcome from the verification system. Since verification is handled by SheerID, they’re the best team to take a closer look at this case. I’d recommend reaching out to them directly at figmasupport@sheerid.com and asking if they can manually review her documents.

Unfortunately, Figma isn’t able to manually verify eligibility or override SheerID’s decisions. 

SheerID responses can sometimes take around 7-10 days. If you don’t hear back within that timeframe, you can also reach out to education@figma.com for additional support. When you do, it really helps to include any screenshots, along with a short timeline of what’s already been tried and the responses received.

If you’re able to share your Education support ticket number here once you’ve contacted them, I’m happy to help flag it internally to make sure it gets visibility.
