Problem in nudge jumping 2px instead of 1px

Experiencing pixel nudge problem, does anyone have the same problem or whats the solution for this.

When moving a point from a shape or from pen tool using keyboard arrow keys it nudges 2px even the nudge amount is set to 1px in the settings. The problem also occurs for big nudges, jumping from 20px instead of 10px. When the nudge amount is set to 0.5px, the point will nudge 1px.

The problem only occur on points and not on shapes or objects, as far as I observed.

Figma Desktop App version 126.0.4

I also attahced a quick video.

Noticed the same bug today as well. It’s creating some friction while designing icons. Maybe it is due to the latest update?

Just got this bug yesterday as well. Even tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail. I’m running 126.1.2

Today when I select an element and press the arrow key it moves 2px (not the usual 1px) and when I press [Shift]+[Arrow] is moves 20px (not the usual 10px)

These are my nudge amount settings for reference:

Am I missing something? How do we get the intended behavior back?

Same here.

I notice the double nudge happens with points that I nudge (like if I grab a path's point) but not if I select and nudge an entire element.

Same problem here. Please triage this as high priority, @Figma, this is very high traffic feature.

Hey All, thanks for flagging this issue!

I completely understand how this must be disrupting your workflow. With a few more details, I can flag this over to our team to investigate.

Is it safe to assume you all started experiencing this issue on or after February 5th? And are you using the default Nudge settings, or do any of you have custom Small nudge and Big nudge amounts set

Please let me know at your earliest convenience, so I can then hand this topic over to the team to reproduce and fix.

I am also getting this issue.

Nudging objects works as expected, nudging points on a path is moving 2 pixels and 20, which is twice my setting of 1 and 10

It’s driving me crazy . . .

Pitching in as well, I’m experiencing this issue.
@djv Using the default nudge settings

@djv I’m using the default nudge settings as well, 1px & 10px. In vector edit mode the small nudge move by 2 px instead of 1, same with the big nudge, 20 instead of 10px.

Outside edit mode it’s behaving accordingly :)

nudge values are set to 1 and 8

Same issue here, experiencing it for the past days/weeks and it’s quite disrupting.

Not sure when it started, but I noticed it for the first time yesterday. This is not the result of me making a modification to nudge settings

Additional observation: if I have more than one point selected, the nudge behavior works as expected. The double nudge is only happening when I have a single point selected.

I got it on February 6th, the nudge settings are default (1 and 10). Figma Desktop 126.0.4.

Hey All, thank you so much for the additional context!

I’ve filed a bug report for the team. They will investigate this further, and I’ll provide an update as soon as I hear back.
