My projects won't open in Figma Windows because the connection speed is too bad.

Figma depends on a stable internet connection to open and sync files, so if you're working with limited bandwidth, performance can be affected.

Here are a couple of things you can try:

  • Switch to a faster or more stable network (like a wired connection or mobile hotspot, if available)

  • Close any unused tabs or background apps that might be using bandwidth

  • Our troubleshooting checklist that may be helpful for you

I am getting this error when opening the project both in the Windows application and in the browser.
