Poppins Font Issue in Figma Sites (Preview/Play Mode Bug)

Hi Mike, thanks for sharing all these details! I can see how this would be confusing with the Poppins font not displaying correctly in preview.

I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue on my end, so I’d recommend submitting a bug report. Our technical team can take a closer look. In the form, it would be helpful to include:

• A link to the affected Figma Site (with ‘edit access’ granted to support-share@figma.com. This won’t affect your billing)

• A short screen recording or screenshots showing the issue like these ones you shared here.

• A description of any recent changes you might’ve made to the project

On the fonts drop-down menu, I think you should select Poppins from the Google fonts, rather than from “Installed by me”, that should solve things.
