Point & Edit Feature Not Responding

Hi Figma community,

I've been experiencing an issue with the Point & Edit feature it gets stuck in a loading state and never resolves.

Steps to reproduce
1. Click on the Point & Edit feature in Figma
2. The loading state triggers ("Live preview loading, interactions may not be saved")
3. It stays stuck indefinitely :  mine has been loading for over 2 hours

What I've tried
- Reloading the page
- Logging out and back in
- Waiting it out still stuck

Nothing has worked so far. The rest of the editor seems functional, but Point & Edit is completely unusable.

Environment
- Tried in both browser as well as in App

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a known workaround or fix?

I understand that the 'Live preview loading' message has been hanging for over two hours after clicking the “Point and Edit” tool.

 

Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this. I’ll go ahead and create a support ticket on your behalf to escalate this to our team for a deeper look.

Please keep an eye out for a confirmation email. Once it arrives, could you reply to it with the following?

  • The URL of the file where you’re seeing the issue, and please grant view access to support-share@figma.com  (this won’t affect billing and helps us reproduce the problem).

Our team will take it from there and follow up with you directly via email.
