Password protection for individual pages for EDU license

I was building my portfolio in Figma sites. I have a EDU license and I was really happy to find out that now Figma have password protection per page. Everything was working fine, but strangely enough of my 6 pages, only one is being password protected, I don’t know why, doesn't make any sense.

Initially I though, oh well, maybe just one can be protected, but NO! I was using in all of them, and it was working. What is even more strange is that only ONE SPECIFIC page can be protected.

Am I missing something? Any configuration or something that I did to cause this? Please help!!!!!!

Thank you very much

Hi @Joao_Vitor_Capelari - sorry if this has been causing you problems. Definitely don’t want to dishonor your wishes on protecting your work.

Can you show me a screenshot of what you see in the section where you have your protected page settings selected? It sounds like you already looked there, but I want to make sure we see if you have actually set each page to be password protected.

Keep the following in mind when applying a password to individual pages (more details here)

  • Password protection remains in place even if the URL path changes—for example, if you rename /portfolio to /clients. (his is not necessarily relevant for you here)
  • When publishing a CMS page, all dynamic pages generated from that CMS path will share the same password protection. For example, if you password-protect your CMS page /blog, any associated pages like /blog/article-1 and /blog/article-n will also be protected.

I may need you to get in touch with support for further assistance, since I’m not able to actually go into files or accounts review things like sharing permissions myself.

Let me know.

Hey! thank you so much for your response. Here’s a screenshot. Only one specific page has password, the rest it says “this page is not published” (but it is!!!!) and it doesnt matter if I select any other single project, it doesn’t work. Only for that last one!

Yeh if I am happy to get into a call with Figma support if they can help me, that would be awesome!

I dont have CMS or anything, just individual pages.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried to remove the password, republish, set it up again, and so on..

I can only manage to set up a password for the whole site and not individually, which is what I want since it’s a portfolio and I don’t want to show the project details to everyone.
