I have been unsuccessful in trying to create horizontal overflow scroll happen in figma sites. The dropdown to control the setting is visible but disabled so I’m not sure if that means it is currently being worked on.
The marquee effect can help show the user the clipped content but it doesn’t give them direct control of the overflow which is frustrating.
Hey
If you’re open to it, please share your Figma site link with me and add support-share@figma.com directly as an editor. This won't affect your billing. I’d love to take a closer look and try to reproduce the issue on my end. That way, I can check in with the team and see what’s going on or if there are any workarounds for this.

Thanks in advance!Â
Thanks
I’ll leave a comment on the component/frame in question to see if you have any suggestions on what I can do to get the overflow scroll.
Hey

Just sent a DM
Thanks for the DM, I’ve reached out to the team internally. Will get back to you once I have figured this out. Appreciate your patience in the meantime!Â
Hey, apologies for the delayed response! I’ve got an update from the team:
If an interaction doesn’t show up in the dropdown, it’s likely not supported for the object type you’re trying to apply it to. You can find more information in our Help Center article: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/31242843431575-Add-interactions-to-an-element#h_01JTH57G43FP34JKHNVZVMPKN4

If this doesn’t seem like it’s the root cause, we’ll probably need more context from your side to see the exact behaviour you’re encountering (i.e. short video recording). Let me know if you want me to connect you with our support team, I can create a support ticket on your behalf and share you file link with the team.Â
