I am on macOS Tahoe, just recently updated, have been having trouble getting Figma real time desktop notification since.
Tried turning on on notification in system setting, it’s showing up when i click into Figma menu bar on top right, but not as a slide in notification.

Hey @twang0719, thanks for flagging this!

I understand the friction this must be causing for you. Since the notifications do show up when you click the Figma menu bar icon, but the slide-in toast itself isn't appearing, this seems specific to macOS's notification delivery rather than Figma not sending the notification at all. A couple of quick things to check:

  1. In System Settings → Notifications → Figma, is the alert style set to "Banners" or "Alerts" (not "None")?
  2. Is Focus/Do Not Disturb on for any of your Mac's Focus modes?
  3. What Figma desktop app version are you on (Figma menu → About Figma)?

With these details, we’ll get a better sense of how to troubleshoot next and connect you with our support team, if needed.Â
