Hey @chiara.tranelli! I saw this response you made under another recent topic regarding a bug we identified at

I’ve split your response into a new topic, because that issue has been resolved. I want to make sure we’re investigating your instance of this separately, in case this is a new bug with similar behavior.

Can you confirm if you are the owner of the file you are trying to copy? If you are able to, can you provide the name of the file you cannot copy? Or do you find that you can’t copy any file?

Also, if you haven’t already, could you please try the following troubleshooting steps?

    • Refresh or restart Figma: Perform a hard refresh in your browser. If you’re using the Figma desktop app, fully quit and reopen the application.
    • Check clipboard permissions: If you’re using Figma in a browser, confirm that your browser has permission to access the clipboard for figma.com.
    • Try another environment: Open the file in an Incognito or Private browsing window, or try the Figma desktop app if you’re currently using the browser. This can help determine whether an extension or browser setting is contributing to the issue.
    • Confirm the active account: Double-check that the email address currently signed in to Figma matches the account that owns the file. An outdated or switched session can sometimes cause unexpected permission behavior.

If the issue continues after trying these steps, please let me know if this is happening on the desktop app, the web version of Figma, or both.
