Not able to change email id

I’m the admin of my team, and my e-mail id has changed. Everytime I try to change my e-mail id in figma from my account, after clicking on the verification mail, this message show up: ‘your link has expired or is malformed’. I’ve tried with Google SSO login and with just email and password - nothing seems to be working.

Also, how do I update my billing info?

Hey ​@Gayathri Yuvaraj , Celine from Figma here, happy to help! I understand that you are receiving an error when clicking the verification link. 

Before clicking the verification link, you need to be logged in with your old credentials (old email) first.
Please make sure both of these conditions are met:

  • You’re logged into Figma using your existing account (with old email address)
  • You then click the Confirm Email button
    That final step is what confirms the change and links your account to the new email going forward. 

You can try the following steps:
1. Sign into your email in a supported web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox)
2. Sign into Figma in the same web browser with your existing email
3. Open the verification email
4. Right-click the "Verify Email" button and select "copy link URL"
5. Paste the copied link into a new tab in the same browser

If that doesn’t work, try pasting the copied link into an incognito/private window instead.
