I have reached out to the sales department multiple times, as our company is interested in exploring and testing the enterprise mode. I've recently purchased a product and would now like to upgrade it to the organizational level. Could you please let me know who will be contacting me and when? Additionally, I'd appreciate details on how the upgrading process works.

Hi @M_G_V, thanks for reaching out!

I took a look at the email address associated with your Figma forum account, and it looks like the support team replied to your ticket #1634985 earlier today. Please check your email inbox for the reply.

For your convenience, I’ll recap the message for you here. Your Professional plan team can be upgraded to an Organization plan. Since the Organization plan allows you to have multiple teams, when you check out, just be sure to select the teams you want to be included in your Figma Organization.

To upgrade to an Organization plan, open Figma and go to the team you wish to upgrade. From there, follow the steps listed in our Help Center guide: Upgrade to the Organization plan.

How to Upgrade to the Organization plan

  1. Open the file browser by logging in to your account at figma.com.
    • If you’re in a specific Figma file, you can access the file browser by clicking Main menu > Back to files from the left sidebar toolbar.
  2. Click Admin.
  3. Select the Billing tab.
  4. Find where your current plan is listed in the top right corner of the page, and click upgrade.
  5. In the modal, click Upgrade and choose seats for the Organization plan option.
  6. Select which teams you want to include in your new Figma organization.
  7. Next, select a seat type for each existing team member. You can also select Add seats to assign later to add additional, unassigned seats to your subscription.
  8. Click Next: Payment.
  9. Enter in your payment information.
  10. Click Next: Review.
  11. Review your plan and subscription details.
  12. After agreeing to Figma’s terms of services, click Complete purchase.

Keep in mind that the Organization plan is billed on an annual basis, while the Professional plan has the option to pay annually or monthly. Also, the features in the Organization plan are different from the Enterprise plan. If you're interested in the Enterprise plan instead, you'll want to get in touch with our sales team. (Have you already filled out this Sales contact form previously?)

Once you’ve upgraded to the Organization plan, here are a few additional resources on managing billing and team members:
