No more save as with renaming when exporting?

from browser it is saved straight as zip(why? it’s only 1) and from desktop app, it shows where to locate the save but no rename, and exporting with creating folder into folder that i already choose? what is this. Bring back the old saving as mechanism.

Hi, ​@Hazelord! Thanks for posting. Sounds like you’re having a frustrating time with your design exports.

 

What browser are you using and on what operating system (it looks like mac OS, but I wasn’t sure what version)? I’m using mac OS Tahoe (v26.6.2) and see the following:

  • In Chrome (v151.0.7922.170), the export immediately downloads as whatever image format I have selected.
  • In the Desktop app, it first asks me for the file name as well as where I can save it (see screenshot), then saves it.

Can you make sure that your browser, operating system, and Figma app are all up-to-date with the newest versions available?
