No longer have access to my University Email

Hi, I signed up with my university email when I was a student. I’ve since graduated and no longer have access to my school email. I cannot access mail forwarding services so I absolutely cannot access my account from my desktop now (it’s asking for email verification which I cannot provide).  There are some files I’d like to retain so this is very important to me.

Hey ​@Leonidas Raisi, thanks for reaching out! Do you happen to already have any emails from your old university address forwarded to your new email? If so, you may be able to reset your password and sign in using an email/password login instead of Google SSO. Once you’re able to access the account, you can then update the email address directly.

If your old emails aren’t being forwarded, we can still help. I can create a support ticket on your behalf so our Support team can start the process of manually updating the email on your Figma account. For security reasons, they’ll just need to verify ownership of the account before making the change.

Hello. No i dont. I would appreciate it as i need the files from that account to transfer it to a new account. I did share these files to another email when i had the education account but now it seems i cant edit or save a local copy. Please update it to this email

Hey, thanks for confirming that! I’ve just created a support ticket on your behalf. Your support ticket number is #1671836, for reference. Support will be in touch shortly and start the process to manually update your Figma account email address. ​​They’ll need to verify your ownership of the account. After the change of the email address of the account, you can log in, and move the files in the account to your new account.
