👋🏻 Hey ​@Matheus_Pimentel, thanks for flagging this and for taking the time to explain why these matter to your workflow. I’d like to add some context on the points you brought up.

• On the left sidebar: This is part of an intentional navigation change you can read more about here: Explore the navigation bar and left sidebar. Collapsing the left sidebar on its own isn't available in the new layout, but if it's screen space you're after, you can still reclaim it: pressing ⌘ ⇧ \ (Mac) or Ctrl Shift \ (Windows), or clicking Minimize (the rectangular icon next to the file name), collapses the navigation bar and both sidebars for an expanded canvas view. I'll keep relaying feedback on this to the team.
• On the click-and-drag-to-toggle-visibility behavior: That drag-to-toggle for multiple layers doesn't appear to be working since the panel was updated. To be sure I’m on the same page, can you confirm if you’re using Figma Design on a browser or the Figma Desktop App (version 126.6.14 or later)? This will help me flag this to the right folks internally. I don't have a timeline to share, but another designer raised the same thing here, where a solution was shared: No Longer can hold click to show and hide layers??? The short version:
  1. Select the layers you want to hide (Shift-click or Cmd/Ctrl-click to select multiple).
  2. Click the visibility (eye) icon in the Appearance section of the right sidebar.
     That toggles the whole selection at once. More detail here if it helps: Toggle visibility to hide layers.

I have already tried all the steps you mentioned. However, it remains quite inconvenient to have that substantial bar occupying so much screen space without any option to hide or deactivate it.

The bar has caused more frustration than assistance; the previous version without it offered a much better experience, as its functions were already easily accessible via the action bar, shortcuts, or the main menu.

The version I am currently using is: 126.6.14
