Dear Figma Support Team,

I’m reaching out to request assistance in recovering a couple of Figma files that were accidentally deleted from my account. These files are important to my ongoing work, and I would greatly appreciate your help in restoring them if possible.

The file names are as follows:

  • Misaal Annotation Dashboard
  • USPS Tracking Dashboard - USPS

Could you please check if these files can be retrieved from your backups or version history?

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to your response.

Hi @sidra mehfooz, thanks for reaching out!

I completely understand the urgency to recover your deleted files. We’re normally not able to assist with File Management here on the forum, but I’ll do my best. Have you tried checking if the files are still in your Trash?

You should be able to restore them as long as the original project and team still exist, and you have can edit access to both the files and project. Since you’re on the Starter plan, keep in mind that restoring your files might lock your team, if they put you over the 3-file limit, so you may need to move files to Drafts first.

  1. Open the file browser and select Trash
  2. Look for Misaal Annotation Dashboard and USPS Tracking Dashboard - USPS
  3. Right-select each file and choose Restore.
  4. If Restore isn’t available, choose Duplicate to drafts instead

If your files were permanently deleted, keep in mind that they can’t be restored on a Starter plan. Hope this helps, but if needed, I can also help you get connected with our direct support team to investigate with you further.
