My own avatar temporarily appears multiple times in the presence bar

I've noticed an intermittent issue with the presence avatars in Figma.

While I'm working in a file, my own profile avatar sometimes appears multiple times in the presence/collaborator bar at the top of the file. It usually duplicates into two or sometimes three instances of my avatar.

The duplicated avatars only remain visible for a few seconds and then disappear. This behavior can occur repeatedly while I'm working in the same file.

I'm not intentionally opening the same file in multiple tabs or windows when this happens.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Is this a known presence or synchronization issue in Figma?
