Hey,
My local fonts suddenly are not working anymore. It tells me to replace the fonts, and when I select the correct font, the same notification appears again as soon as I click on the text layer. This happens with all local fonts.
In the browser version of Figma, the local fonts do not appear in the font list at all. In the desktop app, they do appear in the list, but Figma refuses to apply them and continues to mark them as missing.
I've tried the following:
-
Fully reinstalled Figma
-
Tried it on a different macOS user profile
-
Tested with a brand-new Figma file
-
Moved fonts from user
~/Library/Fontsto global/Library/Fonts -
Reset my Figma profile and local data
-
Confirmed that the fonts work correctly in other applications such as Illustrator
I'm running macOS Sequoia 15.2 and Figma 126.4.11.
Since the issue also occurs on a completely new macOS user account, it doesn't seem to be related to my user profile or font installation. Has anyone experienced this recently or found a workaround?
Thanks!
