Subject: Request to Revert Account to Starter Plan and Restore Access to Files

Hi Figma Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding my Figma account.

My Education plan has expired, but my account has not automatically switched back to the Starter (free) plan. As a result, some of my files are now inaccessible or locked, even though they were originally created by me and should be fully editable.

I would like to request your assistance to:

  1. Revert my account to the regular Starter plan.

  2. Restore full access to all my previous files without losing any data or layers.

These files are very important to me, and I need to continue working on them. Please let me know if any additional information or verification is required from my side to complete this process.

Hi ​@srivani gundeti, apologies for the delayed response! I completely understand how important your work is and how stressful it can be when you can’t edit your own designs. There's no user-facing way to downgrade back to a Starter team from Student team without contacting our support team. I saw you’ve reached out to them and they’ve downgraded your team, so you should now have full access to your files again. Please take a moment to check, and let me know if anything still looks off
