My account has full access to company's workspace, but it still seems to be limited / restricted

My admin gave me full editor access on the company’s shared workspace but I’m still getting an error message saying “Limited Access: To create new files, switch to a plan where you’re a full member”. Is there any way to get full access? I’ve logged out and logged back in, restarted my figma on browser and application, and deleted my cache.
