my account has been deprovisioned after resigning from dev seat why? can i retrieve my files?

Hi 
i had free figma account set on my business email, then I decided to buy Dev Seat, I got connected with my organisation that has been already set up and had SSO etc so I was withing my organisation group, i could use SSO to log in. then i no longer needed Dev Seat so i resigned from being charged for that. and my whole accont has been deprovisioned. I dont have access to the basic Figma on that business accounte email. how can i ask to retrieve all the files I had there?

Thanks for your post, ​@Vis Wizard. Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble accessing the files with your business org - I’m sure this is frustrating. 

 

Any files you made in projects and teams within the business org will remain with the org, and not with the team that your now free account has. Are you the admin of your organization? There are a couple of things you could try if you are not the admin:

  1. Ask the admin to add you back to the org.
  2. Ask the admin to invite you to edit specific files. 

In either case, there is potentially a cost for the org depending on what seat type the admin assigns for you.  For more information on what happens when you remove someone from an org, see this help article - it’s worth reviewing that you have more context on what happened.
