Hi @Meg24, thanks for flagging this, sorry for the disruption to your workflow! I can see how that’s especially challenging after investing time in building your design system in Figma.
In some cases, this can happen if the font’s special characters aren’t fully supported by the font rendering engine in Figma.
A few things you can try:
-
Check for an updated version of the font: sometimes minor updates fix rendering inconsistencies across platforms.
-
Test it in a different browser or on the desktop app to see if the issue is browser-specific. (If it's specific to the browser then please try the steps in Add a font to Figma design to see if that helps)
-
If this issue is specific just to existing files, please check over Manage conflicting fonts.
If the issue persists, I’d recommend sharing the font file (if you’re able to) and a quick example via this bug report form so the team can take a closer look. They’ll be able to investigate whether this is a rendering bug or a compatibility limitation. Let me know how it goes, thanks!
