I’m reaching out because an important file has suddenly disappeared from my account. I’m the owner of the file, but when I click on its link, I get the following message:

“This design file may be deleted, moved or made unavailable. Try reaching out to the file owner.”

The problem is that I am the owner of this file, and it doesn’t appear anywhere. Not in “Drafts to Move”, not in “Trash”, and not in any of my team projects. I’ve also confirmed that I’m logged into the correct account.

This file is extremely important for my work, and I need to recover it urgently. Could you please help me restore or locate it?

Sorry you’re having trouble finding your file, and thanks for reviewing your Drafts to Move, and Trash folders already.

A few more places you can check to locate this on your own here: Delete and restore files → Troubleshooting → I can’t find a file in my trash.

If it still doesn’t show up after that, reach out to our Product Support team: Submit a request. They’ll be able to dig in and give you a clearer picture of what’s happening.
