Missing content in frames when exporting multiple frames at once

Hi! I’m having an issue where when I select multiple separate frames at the same time and export them together (not grouped, each frame has clip content selected) some of the frames will be missing content that is inside of them. For example the first frame will be fine, but the second frame will be missing one image even though it is inside the frame layer I exported. If I export each frame one at a time, this is not happening. I’m not sure what my issue is and have reinstalled figma. I do this many times a day for work and it has just become a problem for me.

It is happening in the desktop app and browser.

Hi @Cecilia DeCarolis

I understand that you're experiencing missing nested images inside selected frames when you export multiple frames at once.

I wasn't able to replicate this issue on my end, so could you please confirm the following?

  • Which export format are you experiencing this issue with?
  • What export settings are you using when this occurs?

For reference, here's an article about export formats and settings: Export formats and settings

To identify the root cause, we'll likely need to examine the actual file and investigate this issue more thoroughly.

If you're open to it, feel free to submit a bug report. This will really help our team take a closer look at what's happening in your specific setup.

To do that: Go to the Support Hub / Click Start a chat / Type "Report a bug" /

Include in the form:

  • A direct URL to the file
  • Share view access to the affected file with support-share@figma.com (our official Support account) You won't be billed for this access.
  • Video recording when you encounter the issue
  • The exported files shown in the video

This will help our team visualize, reproduce, and investigate the issue more effectively.

Thanks!

@Junko3 thanks for getting back to me! Somehow I think the issue has resolved itself… my computer was shut down over the weekend and I haven’t experienced it yet this week (I had tried restarting last week and it didn’t work). I’ll check back in if I experience it again!
