I have a paid up Pro Dev seat and when exploring the MCP server after six or so calls I am now blocked, it just responds with ..

Error: You've reached the Figma MCP tool call limit for your seat type or plan. You can upgrade for more tool calls. Learn more: https://developers.figma.com/docs/figma-mcp-server/plans-access-and-permissions/
Am aware of x-calls per 10-minutes, tried after half an hour an got the same response. Re-authenticated, same response.

Subscription was taken out several weeks back, first time using the MCP service since then. whoami shows expected information

Hi everyone, Celine from Figma here. Thanks everyone for flagging this.
I see in the backend that Mindsurfer’s case has been solved. If you’re seeing the MCP tool call limit error despite having a paid Professional Dev seat, one common cause is that the file you’re working in isn’t located in the team that was upgraded. MCP limits are tied to the specific team/workspace associated with your plan.

Please double-check that you’re working in the correct upgraded team and the file is stored in that team.

If that’s not the issue, we’ll need to review your case directly. You can submit a request via the Support Hub / Click Start a chat / Type “Report a bug” / Include the file URL where you’re running into the limit, a screenshot of the error and confirmation of the team you upgraded. That will allow our team to review your account and MCP usage on the backend. Thank you 🙏🏼

the same.

Not only did I pay 15 dollars, but their support will only respond on Monday, and it’s Saturday now. Thanks a lot, great job.

Same issue here. Feel pretty silly for upgrading the other day to try out the MCP on an actual project and still being locked to 6 calls a month.
