I have lost access to a file which i have not deleted but now can not find that file any where. What should i do. I wan t to check if the file is deleted or not.

When a file is deleted, it moves to the Trash section in your file /desktop browser (visible in the sidebar on the left). From there, you can restore it back to its original project, provided:
- The original project still exists
- You have edit access to the file and project
For full details on how restoration works, check out our Delete and restore files help article. If you are not seeing it in trash, it is also possible it was permanently deleted. This could have been done by someone who has edit access to the team that the file lives in.
If you don't see the file in your Trash, it's possible the file was permanently deleted. I can't confirm that from my end, but our support team can investigate further and let you know. You can reach them here.
