Hey @excel_andyou, thanks for reaching out!

Before I can fully narrow this down, could you let me know:

  • What OS are you on (macOS or Windows)?
  • What's the thumb wheel doing now, is it doing nothing at all, or has it defaulted to something else like horizontal scrolling?

In the meantime, here are the most common culprits after a Figma desktop app update and worth trying now:

1. Check Figma's scroll wheel zoom preference Sometimes a Figma update resets this setting. In the desktop app:

  • Right-click on the canvas → Quick actions → search "Wheel" → make sure Use scroll wheel zoom reflects what you expect
  • Or go to Main menu → Preferences and check the scroll wheel zoom toggle

2. Check Logi Options+ for a Figma-specific profile If Logi Options+ has a Figma app profile, it may have lost the application detection after the update (the app path can change between versions). Open Logi Options+, check whether Figma is still listed as an app profile, and re-add it if it's gone.

3. Disable smooth scrolling in Logi Options+ This one catches people out, smooth scrolling in Logi Options+ can interfere with how Figma reads scroll input. Try turning it off and see if the thumb wheel responds.

4. Restart both Logi Options+ and the Figma desktop app Sounds simple, but a fresh launch of both after an update often clears input detection issues.

Let me know what you find, happy to help further!
