Library components and nested components reset when used in another file

Hi Figma team/community, We’re experiencing an issue with components from our design system library. We have a central Figma file called “Voyatek Design System”, which contains our components and nested components. These components are published as a library and are being used across multiple product files, including ITS, TPP, and ADMIN. The issue is specifically happening in the ITS file: • When we bring a component from the Voyatek Design System library into the ITS file, the component resets itself. • The nested components within that component also reset to their default/library state. • This causes the customizations and overrides we’ve made in the consuming file to be lost or reverted. • The same components are working correctly in the other files (TPP and ADMIN). • The ITS file is currently a branch, which may be relevant to the issue. We would like to understand why the component instances and their nested components are resetting specifically in the ITS file and how we can prevent this behavior. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with Figma library components, nested instances, or branched files? Any guidance on what we should check—such as library versions, component IDs, branch relationships, published changes, or instance overrides—would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
