Left the Team Project, how to access file from the Drafts section

What if the owner upgrades to Professional? Will this help to access the file that I had as “can edit” member in the my Drafts section?

I understand you're trying to regain access to files you created in your Drafts section while you were part of a team, but you lost access to them after leaving the team.

When a user is removed from a team, any files or projects they owned become ownerless.

If the team was on a Starter plan, ownerless files in drafts are actually deleted when someone is removed from the team.

However, if the team upgrades from the Starter plan to the Professional plan, drafts from any previously removed users will become available to the Admin (not the original owner of the draft file).

So does that mean owner of that team project can upgrade to professional plan now and access unassigned drafts? Or do all the members have to upgrade to professional plan in order for the owner of the team project to gain access to unassigned drafts?

The Professional subscription model is structured on a per-team basis. The team owner or anyone with edit permissions for the Starter team can initiate the upgrade for the entire team to Professional plan. Individual team members do not need to upgrade separately. Once upgraded, the subscription cost is calculated based on the number of editors in the team. Please refer to this document: Manage payment and invoice details

And yes, upgrading the team to a Professional plan will allow the team “Admin” to access unassigned drafts from any previously removed users, as described in the document I mentioned earlier.
